Organisation overview

Founded in 2018, The Awesome Marketers is the largest English-speaking, international community for marketers in Finland with 1700+ members.

  • Start with bi-monthly speaker events, moving to monthly events once the volunteer core team is in place.

  • Volunteer call within the community to establish a core team.

  • Delegate areas of work to promote professional growth while avoiding burnout.

  • Set up event systems and processes to improve efficiency and communication, and lessen cognitive load.

  • Develop partnerships with venue hosts and ecosystem organisations.

Build a regular series of IRL speaker events for the community:

  • to provide learning & skills development through practical and actionable marketing insights.

  • to strengthen community bonds and network expansion through relaxed networking opportunities.

  • to provide professional development opportunities through volunteering as an organiser or speaker.

  • to spotlight experts within the community.
