Organisation overview
Founded in 2018, The Awesome Marketers is the largest English-speaking, international community for marketers in Finland with 1700+ members.
Start with bi-monthly speaker events, moving to monthly events once the volunteer core team is in place.
Volunteer call within the community to establish a core team.
Delegate areas of work to promote professional growth while avoiding burnout.
Set up event systems and processes to improve efficiency and communication, and lessen cognitive load.
Develop partnerships with venue hosts and ecosystem organisations.
Build a regular series of IRL speaker events for the community:
to provide learning & skills development through practical and actionable marketing insights.
to strengthen community bonds and network expansion through relaxed networking opportunities.
to provide professional development opportunities through volunteering as an organiser or speaker.
to spotlight experts within the community.
